Get answers to common questions about Touch-up Small Box Braids (Bra-strap).
You must take down old braids and arrive with freshly washed, detangled hair. Hair should be dry or mostly dry. This preparation lets the stylist work efficiently and reduces appointment time. Contact us if you need assistance before booking.
This touch-up includes either two rows in the front plus one in the back, or three rows in the front, depending on your needs. We assess your hairline and regrowth to determine the best option during consultation.
Yes, children and teens can receive this touch-up. We recommend scheduling with extra time for comfort and communication. Have the child’s hair taken down and washed before arrival, and a guardian should be present for younger clients.
Appointment length varies by density and chosen row option but typically ranges from one to two hours. Properly prepared, clean hair helps us complete the touch-up faster. We’ll give a more precise time estimate when you book.
A touch-up refreshes the selected front and back rows to tidy your look, but it’s not a full reinstall. If many braids are loose throughout, a full redo will produce a completely new appearance.
If you arrive without washing or taking down hair, we may need to reschedule or add time and a salon service fee. Please contact us before your appointment if preparation isn’t possible so we can advise or accommodate.
